Shifting the Traditional with the Altitude X Series

Tuesday, June 18, 2019

Innovation has brought efficiency and modern style to residential appliances, and there is no shortage in major advancements when it comes to gas fireplaces.

Napoleon Fireplaces is pleased to unveil the Altitude X Series, which offers competitive advancements in design and technology while keeping the traditional appeal of gas fireplaces. Developed with research and consumer feedback in mind, the line offers new adaptations for a user-friendly unit transition.

“Transitioning your fireplace to coincide with modern residential changes shouldn’t be compromised based on the style or set up of your space,” says Stephen Schroeter, Co-CEO of Napoleon Fireplaces. “Being able to adapt a modern unit to a dated space is a great benefit with modern gas fireplaces.”

The Altitude X Series offers many advantages when it comes time to changing the look and functionality of a gas fireplace. Flexible installation of any unit is possible due to the low enclosure height of the appliance, which is complemented by a spacious TV recess – a frame with combustibles that allows for a plywood backer to be installed for a TV mount. In addition, an adjustable finishing flange for various finishing materials is available along with zero clearance on the sides of the unit, making for an adaptable installation.

Technology is at the backbone of the series with the eFIRE Remote App, allowing users to control their fireplace functions from a mobile device. The fireplaces include a remote control, enclosures for electrical and a/v cables, a heat management option for comfort control, and Napoleon’s NIGHT LIGHT for fireplace illumination while the unit is not in use.

Aside from current feature offerings, two Ultra HD log sets, two finishing trim colors, three decorative brick kits, and three accent colors will soon be available.

About the Napoleon Group of Companies:

It all began in 1976 when a small steel fabrication business launched by Wolfgang Schroeter started manufacturing steel railings in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. At that time, no one could imagine the incredible future that lay ahead for Wolf Steel Ltd., and eventually Napoleon Fireplaces and Napoleon Gourmet Grills.

Since the first wood stove rolled off the production line more than 35 years ago, WolfSteel’s commitment was to be distinctive and successful in everything they do. Napoleon’s commitment to producing quality products combined with honest, reliable service has proven to be a successful framework to ensure the continued rapid growth of the company. Napoleon is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company and now operates with 1.4 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space and employs more than 1,000 associates.

Napoleon is North America’s largest privately owned manufacturer of quality wood and gas fireplaces (inserts and stoves), gourmet gas and charcoal grills, outdoor living products, and a complete line of Heating & Cooling equipment. Napoleon has been named one of Canada’s Top 50 Best Managed Companies, an annual distinction sponsored by CIBC World Markets, Deloitte, The National Post, Queen’s School of Business, and CEO Forum.
